Loose Meat

When we started making jerky, our recipes were all for traditional whole meat jerky. By nature, whole meat jerky has a kind of “chew” to it that most jerky lovers are looking for. However we had a few customers tell us that they wanted a jerky that was easier to chew. So that’s when we started offering the loose meat jerky. We’ve found that with loose meat, it’s so easy to chew; even those with dentures can eat it!  We use % 100 USDA lean, 90/10 ground beef and mix it with our recipes and let it marinate until it’s cured. Then we extrude the jerky onto drying racks and dry them to perfection.
